About Mealible

Sunday would arrive. The fridge would be wrong. Dinner would default to whatever was easiest.

I had good intentions every week. A mental list of recipes my household actually liked. A genuine desire to eat well. What I didn't have was any system for turning those into a real plan — one that balanced nutrition, used ingredients we already bought, and didn't require starting from scratch every time.

The apps I tried made it worse. Some wanted me to log every gram of food. Others handed me meal plans built from a generic recipe database — meals nobody in my house had ever cooked. None of them started from my recipes.

So I built Mealible around one simple idea: your recipe collection should be the starting point, not an afterthought.

How it works

You save the dishes your household actually eats. Mealible builds a balanced weekly plan from those — not from a stranger's database. It profiles the nutrition across your whole week, shows you honestly where it's strong and where it's thin, and generates a categorised grocery list you can send via WhatsApp in one tap.

The nutrition layer is designed to be genuinely useful, not decorative. Most apps show a calorie count and call it done. Mealible tells you which nutrients each recipe actually covers — and where your week as a whole is falling short. If your current recipe collection is quietly missing fibre or iron, you'll see it. The AI Picks feature then recommends new recipes specifically chosen to close those gaps, with a plain-English explanation of why.

Built for real households

Meal planning is almost never a solo activity — and Mealible isn't built like it is. You can link accounts with a partner or housemate, share a recipe library and weekly plan, and swap recipes with friends. The grocery list sends as a WhatsApp message with one tap, because that's how households actually communicate.
